The Essence of Craft – 3° Edition

On September 27th, The Essence of Craft celebrated its third edition in the evocative setting of Castel Mareccio, transforming craftsmanship into a multisensory experience that blended design, precision, and music.
The event, curated by The Makers Club in partnership with Centro Porsche Bolzano and enriched by the sound design of LALUNA, offered a truly unique evening. Guests were invited to explore stories of outstanding artisans, gain access to exclusive areas, and enjoy fine catering paired with an engaging DJ set.
Voices of Excellence
The evening featured the The Essence of Craft talk – an inspiring discussion about the values, techniques, and visions that shape contemporary craftsmanship.
Three prominent figures, joined by a special contribution from the Porsche universe, shared their creative journeys:
- Alberto Franchi (Producer Villa Laviosa): He recounted the story of his South Tyrolean distillery, where grappa embodies a deep connection with the territory, combining inherited craftsmanship with an ethical production vision.
- Giacomo Raimondi (CEO Casba): He introduced the audience to his independent studio for apparel and functional objects, where essential design meets durable materials and a sustainable philosophy – an idea that was born in a garage.
- Clara Del Papa (CEO Clara Del Papa): She revealed the process of transforming silver into wearable sculptures. Her approach merges traditional goldsmith artistry, natural patinas, and digital tools to create jewelry that interacts harmoniously with the human body.
The Porsche Perspective
Marco Cinardo, Brand Manager of Centro Porsche Bolzano and Trento, brought automotive excellence to the stage.
His contribution, centered on the theme “Driven by Dreams”, highlighted how tailor-made craftsmanship, attention to detail, and exclusive personalization programs such as Sonderwunsch embody the very essence of Porsche’s philosophy – combining heritage with pioneering spirit.
The models displayed in the Porsche Space celebrated this precision.
Music and Connection
From 7:30 p.m., the LALUNA Sound Experience took the lead, turning the evening into a rhythmic celebration.
With headliner DJ Marco Generani, the dance floor became a space of genuine connection and vibrant energy, enhanced by premium catering and creative cocktails.
The success of this edition once again strengthened the spirit of The Makers Club community – proving that the fusion of diverse forms of excellence creates authentic and unforgettable experiences.
